DBS Check
To become an instructor you must:
- Be over 21 years old
- Have held a full licences for 3+ years
- Complete a DBS Check from the Gov Online Discloures Service
Part 1
- Learn the Theory
- 100 Question Multiple Choice Exam
- 4 Sections to cover different topics
- Hazard Perception Test
- You will need to pass both tests in the same sitting to complete your Part 1 Exam
Part 2
- One Hour Driving Test
- Eyesight Check
- Basic Car Maintenace
- Driving to a high standard
- Brisk Business-like drive
- Follow directions on a sat-nav
- You're allowed a max of 6 minor errors
Part 3
- Examiner Observes a lesson
- Teach a real lesson
- Demonstrate your coachng skills
- Lesson planning
- Risk management
- Teaching and learning strategies
Our fully integrated training programme can have you on the road in as little as three months or you can train over a twelve month period. This flexible approach allows you the freedom of training around your other commitments.

Submit your DBS check
